The big rescueDonna Muffletine rarely had to leave the lair. As B Gaggers personal secretary she usually worked in the hidden underground fortress that had also come to be her home. But now she was up and about for a change. She had to retrieve copies of some documents from a local town hall. In this day and age she could usually get what she needed from the computer back at the office. But these where old documents and had no digital copies. Having found what she was looking for, she strides down the hall, but stopped for a moment by a mirror on the wall. She admitted to herself she was as bit vain.  The brisk wind caught Torbjörns blond hair and beard as he stood at the fore, gazing upon the sight of land at last. His eyes fell upon the ornate dragons head on the longships bow. This was his first journey in viking to the eastern lands. He felt a sting of pride as he remembered the day he and his kinsman Lidsman were chosen to join Härjulvs hird. For months Härjulv had been gathering enough men in preparation for this journey. Seven ships, each carrying up to fifty men he had to sail out with. That's 316, plus another 30 on the Japanese version of DLsite!

That's not depressing, it's great :-)
Way above what I originally expected.

Stop to consider the game is ranked in 75th place of all products sold on English DLsite, ever. And climbing. That is since 2004. To go above 8th you need 1000 downloads.

You can't really compare an independent niche product like this to a AAA PC title, sold in millions of copies. I don't make a living out of this. It just helps me get by.

I could always want more sales, but I'm very happy to even come this far :-)

Oh I wasn't comparing it to a high-street PC game. I just thought, even knowing EngDLSite's overall sales, that it might've been a bit more popular. Consider it a compliment! :P
